What is Auto-Release?

Auto-Release is a powerful feature designed to streamline your distribution process. We highly recommend enabling it, as it ensures your new ASMR content reaches streaming platforms as quickly as possible, without you needing to manually submit each release.

Benefits: Set it up once, and let ASMRstream handle getting your future uploads onto Spotify, Apple Music, and more automatically!

How Auto-Release Works

Once you enable Auto-Release in your ASMRstream dashboard:

  1. Daily Check: We will check your connected YouTube channel daily for any new videos that meet the eligibility criteria (contains 'ASMR', not a Short, not a past livestream, not member-only).
  2. Automatic Processing: As soon as an eligible new video is detected, we will start prepping it for streaming platforms on the same day.
  3. Scheduled Release: The release is then scheduled according to your Auto-Release settings (see below) and sent to streaming platforms.

Configuring Auto-Release

You have control over how Auto-Release functions. In your dashboard settings, you can:

  • Set a Release Delay: Choose how many days after we detect the new video it should be released. The minimum delay is 2 days (48 hours) to allow for platform processing, and the maximum is 28 days.
  • Choose Release Time & Timezone: Select the specific time of day and the timezone for your auto-releases to go live.

Important Notes

  • Future Videos Only: Auto-Release only applies to videos uploaded to YouTube after you have enabled the feature. It does not automatically release your existing back catalog (you can do that manually from the dashboard).
  • Disabling Auto-Release: You can disable Auto-Release at any time from your dashboard settings if you prefer to manage releases manually.
  • Eligibility Still Applies: Auto-Release will only process videos that meet the standard eligibility requirements mentioned in the Distribution & Releases guide.
