Overview of the Process

Getting your ASMR content on all major streaming platforms is simpler than you might think. At ASMRstream, we've streamlined the entire process into just a few easy steps:

  1. Sign up with your YouTube account
  2. Select your ASMR channel
  3. Complete your artist profile
  4. Wait for channel approval (1-2 days)
  5. Sign the distribution agreement
  6. Start releasing your content!

Step 1: Sign up with your YouTube account

To begin the process, you'll need to sign up using your YouTube account. This step is crucial as it:

  • Verifies you're the rightful owner of the ASMR channel you want to distribute from
  • Allows us to access the necessary metadata for each of your videos
  • Streamlines the entire setup process

Important: We only request read-only access to your channel. This means we can't make any changes to your YouTube content or account settings. The Google sign-in process will clearly show these permission requests.

Step 2: Select your ASMR channel

After signing in, you'll be redirected back to our site where you'll need to select the specific YouTube channel you want to distribute content from. This step is necessary because many creators have multiple channels under a single Google account.

Simply choose the channel that contains your ASMR content from the displayed options.

Step 3: Complete your artist profile

Next, you'll need to provide some basic information for your artist profile. This includes:

Legal Name
Required. This is needed by streaming platforms for proper attribution and to ensure correct royalty payments. It will also be discreetly displayed in the writer/composer credits where applicable.
Artist/Stage Name
This is how you'll appear on streaming platforms. By default, we'll use your YouTube channel name, but you can change it if you prefer.
Profile Description
Optional. A brief bio that will appear on your artist profiles across streaming platforms.
Existing Profiles
If you already have Spotify or Apple Music artist profiles, provide the links here. If not, don't worry! We'll help create them when you submit your first release.

Step 4: Channel approval

After submitting your profile information, our team will review your channel to ensure it meets our guidelines. This process typically takes 1-2 business days.

During the review, we check that your content:

  • Is primarily ASMR-focused
  • Complies with streaming platforms' content policies
  • Has sufficient quality for music streaming services

You'll receive an email notification once your channel has been approved.

Step 5: Sign the distribution agreement

The next time you log in after approval, you'll be asked to review and sign our distribution agreement. This contract outlines:

  • Royalty splits and payment terms
  • Rights and responsibilities
  • Distribution scope and territories

We've designed our contract to be creator-friendly and transparent. Take your time to read it carefully before signing. Once signed, we'll email you a copy for your records.

Step 6: Access your dashboard

After signing the agreement, you'll gain immediate access to your ASMRstream dashboard. From here, you can:

  • Select which videos to release as audio tracks
  • Schedule releases for optimal timing
  • Monitor royalty earnings
  • See your artist profile and release links

And that's it! You're now ready to start distributing your ASMR content across all major streaming platforms worldwide.
